navigate clinical was established in 2017 to provide consulting services to the biotech
and pharmaceutical
industry,
specifically
focused on the
challenges and opportunities in drug development across the entire development lifecycle.
The principal consultant at navigate clinical is Stephanie Petrone.
Stephanie has over 20 years of experience in clinical trial research, operations, strategy and management, with significant experience in Oncology
and rare disease. As a member of the executive leadership teams in both a large pharma and small biotech companies, Stephanie has meaningful
experience across all aspects of drug development and the medical support of commercialization.
Stephanie started her career in pharma as a clinical research monitor and worked her way up to clinical trial manager. Because of this, Stephanie
understand the "nuts and bolts" of running clinical trials. The latter part of her career has been in roles with increasing
responsibility, ultimately focusing on drug program level strategy in an extremely competitive landscape.
Stephanie is also a passionate champion of clinical trial innovation and patient centricity. She was a founding member of the Novartis Oncology
SIGNATURE program (that brought the "protocol to the patient"). She also implemented several process innovations and software
enhancements that contributed to a new clinical innovation platform. As a patient advocate Stephanie has lobbied for more patient input, more
"patient friendly" protocols, and more focus on simplifying the trial participation process for the patients and their caregivers.
Prior to working in pharmaceutical drug development, Stephanie worked for a private commercial Medical Laboratory in various positions supporting
their medical laboratory testing business. Stephanie has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology from the University of Delaware and is
ASCP certified.
